1. How can I see and adjust previous games in my RAMP team account?
To view and adjust past games, enter your RAMP team website using your team login and password. Navigate to "League Games" and then be sure to adjust the "Start" date in order for previous games to appear. The default setting it to show games using today's date.
2. Does changing my roster on RAMP affect my team's official Ringette BC roster?
Rosters on the LMRL website are synced to your association's RAMP registration system. Rosters entered by association registrars will appear on the LMRL website. However, the syncing process is one-way, meaning that the registrar can adjust information that will appear on the LMRL website, but not the other way around. So while coaches and managers can add or adjust their roster on the LMRL website, changes are not reflected on the official team roster managed under the authority of association registrars. This is important to know because your association's roster is your official roster, which BC Ringette will go by for tournaments and provincials.
3. Are the online standings official?
Data from GameSheets is compiled into the stats and standings you see on the LMRL website. However, the League Convener (LMRL's Vice President) will review all results and apply policy when determining final league champions. Note that this may be different than what is posted on LMRL website once forfeits and allowable goal spreads are factored in, for example.
4. Why aren't penalty minutes showing up on the stats next to a player's name?
When entering penalties in GameSheets, be sure to enter the player's jersey number under the # column as well as the "served" column (if it's the same player serving the pentalty, or the correct jersey if it's a different player). Then, the stats will be linked with the player correctly.
5. I'm helping to manage my team's RAMP, can I have access to the team's login information?
If you'd like access, please send an email to webmaster@lmrl.ca and copy your team's Head Coach and Manager. The webmaster will grant you access as approved by your team representatives.
6. Do I have to keep track of shots?
Yes please! Keeping track of shots will allow statistics for goaltenders to be accurate, and helps to paint a more accurate image of how a game went. Let's help out the goalies by asking a parent to track shots in the stands. There are some shot tracking apps you can download from the App store for this purpose.
7. What information do I enter on GameSheets?
All of it! Eventually, electronic game sheets will replace paper game sheets as the official record of a game. These records are important because they reflect what happened at a game, which is not only good for stats and scores, but more importantly in case of an incident that involves close review - such as an accumulation of penalties, a major injury, or an insurance inquiry. In previous years, teams simply entered scores online, now we are entering game sheets.
