High Performance Ringette

Zone Ringette Program

Zone ringette is a regionally-based, competitive stream for athletes aiming for high performance options. The Zone program was developed and mandated by Ringette BC in 2019, and as such, rules and regulations relating to the Zone divisions are found on the Ringette BC website.

Zone ringette is a provincial program and LMRL's member associations work together to form Zone teams and select coaches under the oversight of Ringette BC. The LMRL arranges game play for these regionally based teams, who complete in a provincial league structure to see who will ultimately earn a spot to attend the national championships.

Depending on athlete interest, the Lower Mainland strives to form four zone team each season. When this is not possible, the LMRL may form fewer zone teams based on geographic locations wherever possible.
