About

Welcome to the Lower Mainland Ringette League

The Lower Mainland Ringette League (LMRL) was registered as a BC non-profit society on August 2, 1994. Today, it is the largest ringette league in British Columbia with ten member associations covering a geographic area from Hope to Squamish.

The LMRL's primary job is to maintain a league and schedule game play between teams within its member associations. League banners are awarded to the top team in each division. As part of league operations, the LMRL ensures coaches, officials, and athletes are in compliance with league and provincial regulations and ringette rules.

The LMRL also works to develop its participants by providing athlete development opportunities, supporting high performance and recreational streams, and offering participation opportunities through gym ringette, mixed ability, adult, child, mixed gender, Indigenous programs, and Come Try Ringette opportunities. You will also see the LMRL promoting and advocating for ringette in the community, at arenas, and online.

There are approximately more than 1,000 ringette participants in the Lower Mainland.
